![]() ![]() I love all of the voices that she uses for the different characters but I think she might deserve some kind of award for the voice she uses for Bones. Tavia Gilbert does such a fantastic job with this series. I cannot wait to get to his books as I re-read this series. I love his scenes with Cat even if he tends to steal a lot of her spotlight. I loved getting to see Spade, Denise, Mencheres, and Kira play a part in this installment. ![]() I also have a lot of love for the larger group. ![]() I love the way Bones has no problem telling Cat what he feels and doesn’t hesitate to do so. Cat and Bones are always awesome and together they are amazing. There are some other developments in this story that aren’t easy for Cat to deal with. I really enjoyed seeing a little more in regards to Cat’s developing powers and some of the more interesting side effects she encounters in this book. They have to play their cards very carefully in order to get the outcome they hope to see. Cat and Bones find themselves in the middle of a conflict between ghouls and vampires. The last two books in the Night Huntress Universe focused on other couples so I was glad to see Cat and Bones back in the lead for this installment. ![]()
